Civil Surgeon, Bokaro, Dr. Ashok Kumar Pathak said that a total of 5786 people of Bokaro were vaccinated of Covid -19 in the district on Saturday, including 4798 senior citizens.
According to the civil surgeon, 114 Frontline Workers, Health Workers and other workers were vaccinated while 2nd dose to 428 people.
He said that vaccines were also given in private hospitals including Sadar Hospital, Bokaro General Hospital and all community centers in the district, among them ANM Training Center, in Comp-2, 339 senior citizens out of total 680 and 45 + age group.
The first 36 people were given the first dose of Covid. In addition, 63 frontline workers, health workers and other workers were given the 1st Dose and 247 people were given the 2nd Dose.
Health officials sources said that 30 people were given vaccinations at Tenughat Sub-Divisional Hospital in the district, 20 people at phusro Sub-Divisional Hospital and 40 at Chas Sub-Divisional Hospital and also at various community health centers in the district included 30 people in Chandankiyari, 00 people in Bermo Community Health Center, 60 people in Jaridih Community Health Center, 00 people in Nawadih Community Health Center, * Petarwar Community Health Center vaccinated 00 people, Kasmar Health Center Community Health Center 20 people and Gomia Community Health Center 90 people.
He further informed that a total of 4669 people were vaccinated in panchayats of all the blocks and a total of 50 people were also vaccinated in Bokaro General Hospital.
Dr Pathak informed that Covid-19 vaccination is being given in private hospitals in the district, in which 97 people were vaccinated. He has also requested the senior citizens (male and female) of the district to go to the Health and Wellness Center along with their nearest health center and get the vaccine vaccinated.
He further informed that the work of Covid-19 vaccination is going on vigorously in all the panchayats of all the blocks.
Under this campaign, a Covid vaccine is being applied to all the preferred citizens of the district to protect them from the corona. Vaccination was done for this in Tangtola, Baraikala, Madhukarpur, Harnad Panchayat, Manjura of Kasmar Block. In the same Nawadih Block, vaccination was done in Bhandara, Panc, Mungoro Rangamati, Goniato, Kacho, Oils Eastern, Oils Western, Oils Middle.
In the same Bermo Block, vaccination was done in Kargali, Aarmo, Govindpur A, Govindpur B, Govindpur C. At the same time, vaccination was done in Chandrapura Panchayat and Ghatiyari Panchayat under Chandrapura Block. At the same time, different locations under Jaridih Block, Chandankiyari block, Petarwar Block, Gomia Block, Nawadih,and Chas Block were vaccinated.
