On the basis of a report received from TrueNat of HMCH, 42 new cases have been found positive. It includes the one policeman of Choparan police station and others from the different blocks of the district. Three persons were found positive for Chatra district. They have been admitted in HMCH and forest Covid treatment center. Three patients have died during the treatment in HMCH on Sunday. Total death reached to 12 in the district.
Now total active positive cases have reached 303. HMCH Superintendent Sanjay Sinha said that the lab has tested 10096 samples, out of them 8441 reports came negative and 539 found positive. He said that the lab has tested the samples on war level. On Saturday 183 samples were tested.
In which 181 reports came negative and one positive and one rejected. Positive report belongs to a High court staff.
He further said that one report was found positive after the death of the person. He was a resident of town areas. 843 reports are still pending. We are trying to dispose as early as possible.
The district administration has sealed the 17 containment zones in the town. The health department has instructed all remote areas in charge to seal the area where any positive patients came to light.
