Despite the fact that several posts of DSPs are still vacant in the Police Department, the Government did not seem to be serious in this regard. Even after completing their training period on April 30, at least four probationer DSPs of the fourth batch are still awaiting their postings in fields.
According to a notification issued by the State Government on May 9, postings of all 57 probationer DSPs was done but four names — Sunil Kumar Rajwar, BN Prasad, Arvind Kumar Binha and Bhupendra Raut- were apparently missing in the list.
“This is really disgusting that despite completing the training period with full devotion and enthusiasm, we have still been kept waiting for the last three months,” said a probationer DSP requesting anonymity.
“We have been left with no work since April 30 after our training evaluation report was sent... it is really disappointing for us that we have not been sent to the fields,” added another newly trained DSP.
