Probationer IPS officer Prashant Anand has sealed four illegal stone crushing plants.
In the year 2013 and 2014, Palamu saw a massive drive against the illegal running stone crushing plants. Raids were conducted and illegal units were sealed. But no such raid was ever done in Panki. The reason was most obvious. These illegal run units had the patronage of the big and powerful there.
Speaking to The Pioneer, the IPS probationer said, "I have asked these operators of the stone crushing plants to produce all papers in support of their claim. They failed to do so."The officer, posted in Daltonganj, has come into news after he raided the prestigious Palamu Club.
