Four persons died while another four were injured in an accident on NH-23 near Pindrajora Bokaro district on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Santo Deswali, Anadi Manjhi, Anil Manjhi and Saratchand Mahato, residents of Sardah village. The injured Suraj Manjhi, lilu Manjhi, Manahor Manjhi and Bihari Deshwali were rushed to a local hospital and their condition is said to be critical. According to the eyewitnesses, a Tata Majic coming towards Chas Dharmashala collided head-on with a standing truck near Khutadih village. The collision was so fierce that all four died on the spot while others sustained multiple injuries.
