Garhwa SP Priyadarshi Alok on Wednesday suspended four police personnel, including a Sub-Inspector, for bringing an arrested woman from Alwar in Rajasthan while keeping her tied with ropes.
To execute an arrest warrant from local court, Garhwa police arrested the girl in Alwar and brought her down to Garhwa keeping her hands and waist tied with a rope.
Alok took the incident seriously and suspended four police personnel — SI KP Singh, constable Uma Shanker Sharma, women constable Sujata and Madhu. Garhwa court has issued warrant in a case against 23 family members of the accused.
