Police arrested four persons for allegedly firing at a Doctor's vehicle in the sector-12 area of the Bokaro recently on October 1, 2022.
According to information provided by the City Dy SP, the attackers on October 1 fired bullets at a Doctor's vehicle of Muskan hospital near Tetulia in Sector-12 after which its driver drove towards the other direction of the city. The accused chased the victim for a few kilometres, said the police in a statement.
The police have said that as per the initial investigation, the case seems to be of mutual enmity. However, the case is being looked into from all angles, added the City Dy SP.
Talking to media persons DySP said the arrested criminals have been identified as Ali Raja alias Monu 24, Faizan Ali alias Tipu 27, Sajid Hussain 22, all belonging to Marafari in Bokaro while one other Md Danish alias Mamu 2, who is belonging Jamui in Bihar
Police have arrested and registered a case against the accused on the basis of statements given by the victim.
"During initial interrogation, the accused revealed that they wanted to create terror in the area. We are interrogating them further to find out if there was any larger conspiracy involved in the incident," the DySP said, adding that more arrests were likely to be made in the case as the police were trying to track the source of funds of these accused.
