The closing ceremony of the third Jharkhand Science Film Festival, which lasted for two days, was held on 15 October under the joint aegis of Science for Society (Jharkhand) and BSL in the main auditorium of BSL's Human Resource Development Center.Executive Director (Personnel & Administration) Sanjay Kumar,Chief General Manager-in-Charge (Town Services) and Co-Chairman (SFS, Bokaro) BS Popli Income Tax Officer (Bokaro) JP Chaudhary, President (Science for Society, Jharkhand) Dr. Ali Imam Khan, General Secretary (SFS, Jharkhand), DNS Anand, General Manager (Education) cum Chief Advisor (SFS, Bokaro) Meenam Mishra, Secretary (SFS, Bokaro), Rajendra Kumar along with various BSL run schools and Bokaro Teachers, students and girls of private schools were present.
In the beginning of the programmeMeenam Mishra welcomed everyone. In his address, ED Sanjay Kumar highlighted the importance of Science Film Festival. Describing the children as the future of tomorrow, he said that through such events, they would be helped in proper guidance and scientific thinking.More than a dozen films in different languages were screened in the two-day film festival and about two thousand children took advantage of it.
