In the five assembly segments of Hazaribagh district 35 cases have been lodged on the charges of violation of the model code of conduct by the order of DC cum District Election Officer Sunil Kumar. Hazaribagh Sadar constituency tops the list with fourteen such cases.
In Barhi assembly segment, ten cases have been lodged so far while in Barkathha it is only two. In Barkagaon assembly area which falls in Hazaribagh district so far five cases of
violation of model code of conduct have been registered while in Mandu constituency four such cases have been identified by Hazaribagh district administration.
On the other hand, the district election office has once again made it clear to every candidates and political parties that this time as per the guidance of election commission everyone will have to use propaganda materials properly passed by the MCMC cell, otherwise their materials, vehicles etc. will be seized and case will be lodged against the candidate.
