A total of 81 pending cases were disposed of during the daylong National lok Adalat organized at the Jharkhand High Court while 3231 pending cases were settled at the district and sub-divisional courts in the State.
In addition to that 7679 pre-litigation cases were also disposed of. An amount of Rs 32, 63, 58,367.7 was settled during the lok Adalat all over the State.
In Ranchi Court alone, out of 607 litigations taken up, 410 were disposed of and an amount of Rs 1,28,30,052 was settled on Sunday during the lok Adalat organized here.
During the lok Adalat, a total fo 44 criminal cases and 13 cases related to family matters were disposed of reuniting 6 families together.
A Jail Adalat was also organized here at Birsa Munda Central Jail following which four inmates were released.
