A police team headed by officer-in charge of Pank OP Rupesh Kumar recovered 30 kg of Can bomb planted on Guniato-Pank road near BSNl tower, barely 8 km away from Pank police station, on Tuesday evening. SDPO Raj Kumar Mehta informed about this.
Sharing the details, the SDPO said that one powerful can bomb weighting 30 kg was found buried by the rebels who had planted to create violence during the naxal week. SDPO also said that the explosive was planted at a place near the Guniato-Pank road connecting the Narki and the intention of the extremists was to blow up police personnel crossing
the road. The bomb got successfully defused by bomb squid.
