Three female members of a family died due to fire in a paddy barn in Giridih.
The charred bodies of the three were found in a paddy barn on Monday morning.
According to police the incident took place at Sallaia village in Bagodar block of Giridih district. The family members include 55 year old Mudrika Devi, mother of Sitaram Yadav, Yadavs sister (17) and his 7 year old Jhuli, who died in the incident.
The three were passing night in the past barn and also had burnt fire in a pot to keep the area warm. Unfortunately, fire broke out in the barn leading to the death of all three. The matter was reported to the Birni police station by villagers.
Officer - in- change of Birni police station Dinesh Singh who reached on spot said, the incident took place on Sunday night and bodies are being sent for postmortem.
Former Bagodar MLA Nagendar Mahto too visited the incident spot and consoled the victims family. He also assures that would recommend compensation for the family.
