Tragedy struck in Bokaro when three girls took their lives under different police stations on Saturday. As per police, Sabina Khatoon (20) hanged herself at Akash Hospital under Chas police station last night. She was a staff nurse at the hospital. “We suspect love affair gone wrong as a possible motive behind her extreme step”, police said.
“She was in love with a hospital staff. We found her body hanging from the ceiling”, added Police.
While in another incident a girl aged about 21 years allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a lake at City Park under City Police station. Her body found floating in the lake today. Body was fished out and sent for post-mortem, said OC of City police station.
“The body of the girl is yet to be identified”, said the OC.
In the third incident Sandhya Kumari (22) a student of BA Part-II at Ranvijay College Chas hanged herself under Herla Police Station in Bokaro. Police found her body hanging form a Ceiling fan. No suicidal notes were found in all three cases; we have registered accidental death reports for the moment and are conducting further inquiries into the matter. It is too early into the investigation to specify motives behind the deaths, said police.
