Bokaro district court sentenced three persons for 10-year rigorous imprisonment each for raping a 45 years woman on Saturday.
Additional District and Sessions Judge-II (ADJ) Satya Prakash Sinha awarded 10-year rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 to Guddu Manjhi, Gaghua Manjhi and Anand Manjhi.
Yamuna Devi (45) a resident of Vathua village under Harla police station was raped by five persons on 29 June 2010 when she was slept in her house. Three of them were identified and awarded rigorous imprisonment.
The court also imposed a penalty of Rs 5,000 each on the culprits. In case they fail to deposit the fine, they would have to undergo imprisonment for six more months”, said Ranjit Giri Advocate of the District Court Bokaro.
