As the number of Corona positive cases are on rise three doctors have been found positive according to the last report released by Health authorities late on Thursday night.
This is for third time that doctors are being found positive in the coal city.
Reports suggest that two doctors, who were found Corona positive, are of Patliputra Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) and from the same department.
Incidentally, both are not associated with any Covid related test or hospital activities. One of them, a male had returned from New Delhi about a week ago.
The third one is a private practitioner and may have developed infection while attending patients at a private clinic .
Earlier, in the months of June and July in two different incidents an incharge of government PHC, two dental surgeons and a doctor from a private nursing home were found positive but have recovered.
According to the report, the number of active cases at present in Dhanbad stands at 347 housed at different hospitals of Dhanbad.
Meanwhile, administration has stepped up move to create Plasma therapy facilities in Dhanbad within a month.
Dhanbad deputy commissioner held a discussion with PMCH blood bank doctors over setting up the plasma bank for treatment of affected patients. He has instructed for initiating action for the same so that the facility may be available at PMCH at the earliest.
He also directed authorities of different Covid hospitals to get the fire-fighting equipments installed at all Covid hospital.
