Three persons died in a road accident that took place on Friday night at GT Road near Pawapur village under Hariharpur police station .
Office- in- Charge of the police station Yogesh Mahto while giving information said that a speeding car had crushed to death one Guria Devi who was washing utensils at roadside hand pump and her eight year nephew Mahesh had died while being taken to hospital late Friday night . She was dragged to over 20 feet by the speeding car .
The villagers had brutally thrashed the four occupants of the car following the incident. Out of the four, one Suraj Kumar resident of Arra Bihar who was admitted to SNMCH died on Saturday .
Condition of remaining three too who were shifted to RIMS Ranchi is very critical as they have received several wounds on body due to accident besides beating by villagers, said Mahto.
The three admitted at RIMS include Ravindar, Shivam and Virat Kumar, he said. All four in a car were coming to Dhanbad from Bihar to attend a marriage function.
Mahto said no case has been filed till Saturday as neither side has given any written complaint.He confirmed that those on the car were victims of mob violence.
