Forest Environment and Climate Change Department, Government of Jharkhand and Forest Officers Wives Associations jointly organised three-day ‘Forest Fair-2018’ on Saturday. The three-day fair will continue till Monday.
The primary objective of the fare is to provide markets to products of the Joint Forest Management Unions which can give then identity on national level. Simultaneously increase the income of the unions so that they protect the forests more vigorously.
As many as 45 stall from various part of the state have been installed by various related organisations and companies. Out of which forests products manufactured decorating items, various art exhibitions like Soharai painting, Patkar painting, traditional musical instruments of the state, Terracotta paintings, Ayurvedic cosmetics etc.
