Three youths kidnapped from the Nawabganj mohallah of Hazaribagh about a week ago from a computer center named Data Pro have been recovered with the TPC. SP Bheem Sen Tuti informed that police have solved the mystery and have arrested three TPC men.
The SP said that the kidnapping case was linked to cyber crime and economic offence so the kidnapped youths had also been taken into custody. The owner of the computer center Sudhir Tiwari and his two employees Md Jishan and Md Izhar were recovered on Thursday late evening from an abandoned house situated in the forest area of lavalong block of Chatra district which is known as the den of TPC. CRPF 190 Battalion played an important role in this recovery, he added.
As per the story stated by both police and Sudhir Tiwari, the owner of Data Pro computer center the background of this story is about a year old. Three local youths named Virendra Rana of Katkamdag, Vikash Kushwaha of Rewali and Sambhu Paswan of Bara Bazar gave him the assignment of hacking the bank account of an organisation named Khwaza Garib Nawaz of New Delhi. The organisation takes contracts of road, building etc. construction works. More than Rs 90 crore was in that account which was not in use since long.
Sudhir and his allies accepted the challenge and according to the local youths they hacked the account and transferred amounts in the account of an organisation named Veer Budhi Vikash Kendra, Ramgarh and then to their own account. Sudhir has accepted to give Rs 3 crore each to Vireandra, Vikash and Sambhu who had given the account number and other details to him. When he refused to give the promised account then they contacted with the TPC men, who abducted Sudhir and his employees on August 14 along with their laptop, mobiles and main CPU of the center.
According to police sources TPC men forced them to transfer amount from that account and to hack some other accounts during these 10-12 days. For it they use to bring them to Bagra more where internet facility is available but according to arrested TPC men, they never succeeded in doing so. During last 10-12 days they only made excuses for their failure.
Sudhir Tiwari who has accepted that he has taken the challenge of hacking the account said that he and his allies tried their best but never succeeded in hacking that account because the security system of that account was very complex. But the TPC men and other three youths who have been arrested are regularly saying that Tiwari and his employees have transferred a huge amount from that account. SP escaped to say anything on it and said that investigation is still on.
Police recovered a regular revolver, six cartridges, one laptop, five mobiles from the arrested TPC men. The arrested TPC men are Balram Munda, Srikant Kumar and Ganesh Ganjhu.
