Three criminals, who were arrested from the Bokaro Steel Plant by the CISF cops handed over to the police on Monday, escaped from the police lock-up of City Police station in the wee hours, said Jitender Singh Superintendent of Police Bokaro. They were identified as Md Iftikhar, Md Kalimuddin and Md Mustfa Alam, all are the resident of Bari Co-operative colony Bokaro, Singh said.

It's amazing, that the criminals even managed to find the tool to bend the iron rod of the lockup door perhaps lying conveniently in their cell. In the wee hours the criminals bent the iron rod of the gate of the lockup, and slipped away in the presence of several on duty policemen. This incident reveals  laxity in duty, condition and lack of security of police station lock-ups in Bokaro.
