Bokaro Police arrested three persons over killing of a brick kiln owner Sriniwas Singh (40) and dumping his body at an illegal coal mine site under Sitanala area of Amlabad Outpost of Chandankiyari police station in Bokaro. Singh was reported missing from Thursday, informed Kartik S, Superintendent of Police Bokaro.
Singh was a resident of Mohalbani under Sudamdih police station of Jharia and running his brick kiln at Sitanala, he said. “On a tip-off Police arrested Budha Mahato, the business partner of Singh (in Brick Kiln) along with Sushil Mahato and Rinki Bauri in killing. During interrogation they accepted their crime,” added SP.
There were disputes over money between Singh and Sushil Mahato. On Thursday Budha called Sing for a party at kiln. When they were engaged in party suddenly Sushil attacked on Singh with an axe and later killed him with other sharp weapons, he said.
They revealed before the police that, after killing they dumped the body in a nearby mine and filled it with Salt and Soil aiming to decompose it fast, SP informed adding “body has been recovered and sent for post-mortem”.
Meanwhile, Ramniwas the brother of the deceased lodged a case of kidnapping and killing of his brother against Budha Mahato, Sushil Mahato and Rinki Bauri at Chanadkiyari police station.
