A press conference was organized by Hazaribag Basketball Association at Aarogyam Complex.The detailed information about the 23rd Jharkhand State Basketball Junior Championship to be held from January 13 to January 15 was given by the President of Hazaribag Basketball Association and all the officials.
Addressing the press conference, it was announced that the upcoming 23rd Junior Jharkhand State Basketball Championship will be held in the basketball court of Saint Columba College in Hazaribag.To make it successful, many important committees have been formed with the unanimous consent of all the authorized officials of the Basketball Association.Its organizing president has been handed over to Hazaribag Olympic Association President Harsh Ajmera, Organizing Secretary Hazaribagh Basketball President Dr. Ahsanul Haq and Hazaribag Basketball Vice President Arvind Kumar, Secretary C Das and Treasurer Saurabh Kumar as coordinators.President Dr. Ahsanul Haq said in the press conference that the grand beginning of the championship will be held on January 13 at the basketball court ground of Saint Columba College.A day before, in the evening of 12th January, a road march of players and sports lovers will be taken out in Hazaribag.
The championship will be inaugurated with a grand cultural program in which many eminent personalities including international basketball coach JP Singh, Olympian Harbhajan Singh will be present. Addressing the press conference, Harsh Ajmera said that Hazaribag Basketball Association will definitely achieve new heights in the sports world.The disciplined sports skills and excellent performance of the players will bring glory to the entire Jharkhand state at the national and international level.He said that he will continue to extend his full support to Hazaribag Basketball Association.He described the efforts of Hazaribag Basketball Association as commendable and said that as a result of the hard work of this organization, it has become possible to organize the 23rd Junior Jharkhand State Championship on the soil of Hazaribag.Arvind Kumar, convenor of the championship and vice president of Hazaribag Basketball Association, said that the entire basketball association is determined to make this event historic and memorable with its teamwork, full dedication and dedication.
