Despite repeated reminders by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, 21 IAS officers have not yet made online entry for their self evaluation in the Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) generated for the year 2015-16. Principal Secretary of the department Nidhi Khare held a meeting on the PAR records entry today and said that the officers failing to make online entry would face promotion related hurdles.
Khare said that the record entry for the PAR needs to be done by December 31 and despite repeated reminders the officers have not made online entry resulting into obstacles in the process of Reporting/Reviewing/Accepting. Promotion and other issues would be affected for those officials whose online aparaisal entry could not be submitted by the said date, Khare added.
Notably, manual PAR entry is not accepted by the Government of India. By the end of the year not only the officers have to make online entry in the PAR but it also need to be put into records online.
As many as 21 IAS officers from 1983 to 2013 batch are in the list, who have not made online entry in the PAR.
