With a view to strengthen the team and give greater responsibilities, a total of 21 executives were promoted to Deputy General Manager (DGM) rank at IISCO Steel Plant. Three executives promoted as DGM in other SAIl units were also posted on transfer at ISP.
Chief Executive Officer Narendra Kothari gave away the promotion orders in presence of all the Executive Directors and other senior officers. The officers at ISP promoted to the rank of DGM are Sushil Kumar Nayak, Subhasis Das, Ajit Kumar Jha, Anup Kumar Ghosh, Joydev Mondal, Tarun Sen, Kajal Kumar Mitra, Gopal Kishor Agarwal, Konda Rama Rao, Debnath Gangopadhyay, Shreekant Jee Verma, Kalyan Kumar Sarkar, Prabir Kumar Sarkar, Rabindranath Pradhan, Karuna Kanta Pal, Sankar Bhaumik, Naresh Kumar Kameshwar, Madan Kumar Das, Tarit Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Arup Kumar Chall and Mrityunjay Banerjee, officials informed.
Officers from other units who have been promoted as DGM and posted to ISP are VV Udaishankar from Bhilai Steel Plant, S K Nayak from Durgapur Steel Plant and Debabrata Ghosh from Alloy Steels Plant. Congratulating the officers on their promotion, CEO Kothari urged them to endeavor for excellence in their fields and work as a team to facilitate early completion of modernisation and expansion at Burnpur.
