Mega Retail Expo by Canara Bank
Canara Bank Regional Office, Ranchi organised a Mega Retail Expo at Kokar Branch. The expo was inaugurated by Subodh Kumar, Deputy General Manager, circle office, Ranchi. Reputed builders, Direct Selling Agents and car dealers like Maruti Nexa, Premsons Motors, Sudha Motors, Devyani Motors etc. participated in the event.
World Entrepreneurs’ Day at ICFAI
An event was organised at ICFAI University on the eve of World Entrepreneurs’ Day, which is celebrated every year on August 21 all over the world. Twelve Entrepreneurs from Jharkhand, including a number of women entrepreneurs, were invited by the University to share their Entrepreneurship Journeys. Welcoming the audience to the function, Prof ORS Rao, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University said, “An Entrepreneur can change and influence the world around us by providing appropriate products and services.” Giving examples of innovative entrepreneurs across the world, India and Jharkhand, Prof Rao highlighted that over 20 alumni of the University have become entrepreneurs, which includes 6 students that graduated in 2018.
Raksha Bandhan function
Raksha Bandhan function was organised in HEC Headquarters on Wednesday. The programme was initiated by the reverend sisters of Prajapati Brahmakumari Ishwaria Viswa Vidyalaya, Ranchi branch. Sister Nirmala alongwith others tied Rakhi to HEC CMD — Abhijeet Ghosh and MK Saxena (Director — Personnel). Arundhati Panda (Director — Financial) including other senior managerial personnel was present on the occasion.
