The Additional District and Sessions Judge-II of Bokaro court Janardhan Singh awarded life imprisonment to a husband for killing his wife. The court awarded life term to Manik Sharma (36) for killing his wife Kunti Devi as the court found him guilty. Presently he was residing at Bodro villager under Chas Miffasil police station.
The court also fined Rs 25 thousand to him, said R Rai Advocate of the District Court Bokaro. According to FIR lodged at the local police station, Manik killed his wife over a hot argument on 17 May 2017. She was first thrashed brutally by her husband; later Manik throttled his wife and hid her body in nearby bushes, said Rai adding “Kunti was got married to Manik, in the year 2002 and the couple has no kids”
