DRM travels with passengers
DRM, Ranchi VK Gupta today travelled with passenger in Ranchi – Asansol MEMU Passenger Train in general bogey and talked to them about their issues, problems and suggestions. ADRM (Operations) Vijay Kumar, Sr DOM Neeraj Kumar, Sr DCM Avneesh and other officials also accompanied the passengers. He inspected the driver, guard lobby and passenger amenities at Muri station and inaugurated a Bottle Crusher plant there.
HEC inks protocol with OKBM
At the concluding of their three weeks visit, OKBM signed a joint protocol with HEC. Project Manager of OKBM, Oleg A. Bykh and Director (Marketing) of HEC, Rana S. Chakravarty signed the joint protocol in presence of CMD, HEC Avijit Ghosh. The technical tie up between HEC and OKBM will enable HEC to have a large establishment in country’s nuclear power programme and HEC shall have substantial contribution in the growth of strategic sector of the country.
Tripathi raps Govt on land
Congress leader and former Minister KN Tripathi rapped the State Government on the land amendment issue. “The amendments which the Prime Minister of the country could not do into the Act, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand did! This is done for his corporate friends to loot the land in the State,” said Tripathi after holding party’s coordination committee meet where members from all the districts gathered to share inputs about the strength and weakness of the Congress.
MP at painting workshop
Central Coalfields limited(CCl) on Thursday organized a two-day painting workshop on ‘canvas’ to give momentum to ongoing “Swachhta Pakhwada(16-30 June)” by engaging professional artists, who are creating awareness among school children and others to fulfill Mahatama Gandhi’s dream of clean India. Ranchi MP Ram Tahal Choudhary inaugurated the painting workshop in presence of R S Mahapatro, Director (Pers), CCl, A K Mishra, Director (Tech/Oprns), A K Shrivastava, Director(P&P) and other dignitaries. Students of DAV Public School, Gandhinagar and others attended the workshop. GMs/ HODs from headquartes and other employees were present on this occasion.
A K Shukla is Director (Op), HCl
Arun Kumar Shukla, who worked in Central Coalfields limited (CCl) for about 21 years, has been selected as Director (Operations), Hindustan Copper limited (HCl) situated in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of Shukla as Director (Operations) HCl on June 208. Jharkhand will be benefitted from Shukla as he is expert in coal as well as metal mining sector. Currently, Shukla serves as Executive Director, NMDC limited.
New director of MTFEF
The 23rd consecutive edition of Mega Trade Fair Expo by Junior Chamber International Ranchi will take place as usual in October this year with Gourav Agrawal as the Director. He has done commendable work in the last six years with the Secretary and important positions like expo, on the expo chairman, Vice President. Gaurav Agarwal, who was awarded the Expo Padma Bhushan in 2017, while accepting the chairmanship of the Mega Trade Fair said that just like every year, the Expo will be organized in new and grand style and everything will be done while keeping the people in mind. Hua will present at the Expo celebration in 2018.
Shell brings ‘Make the Future Festival’
Shell is bringing their marquee event Shell Eco - marathon (SEM) to the country for the first time. The SEM Challenger will be part of Make the Future India to be held in Chennai between 6th and 9th December. Shell’s Make the Future is a global platform for conversation, collaboration and innovation around the world’s energy challenges. SEM, which was first inaugurated in 1939, is the world’s longest-running student competition wherein engineering students are challenged to design, build and test fuel-efficient cars. Indian teams have been participating since 2010 but this is the first time the competition will be held on home ground.
