Justice RR Prasad cremated
Chairperson of State Human Rights Commission, Justice (Retd) RR Prasad was cremated with full State Honours here on Tuesday. The retired justice was given Guard of Honour before cremation, while the last rites were performed by his wife Kalpana Prasad and eldest daughter Richa Prasad. A large number of people paid tribute to Justice Prasad including judges of Jharkhand High Court, officers of High Court and State Government and others. Before serving as the Chairperson of State Human Rights Commission, Justice Prasad served as the Chief Justice of Manipur High Court and also Justice of Jharkhand High Court.
Measles and Rubella vaccination
Civil Surgeon Dr. Shiv Shankar Harijan asked the trainees of ANM and Gnm to start preparing for providing Rubella and Measles vaccines for kids, following the rules and also provided them with information regarding this, on Tuesday. The campaign for the vaccines starts from June 26, 2018. Other than that, during a meeting with the Urban District Core Group he was told that the 53 wards of the city will be divided into 11 clusters. The surgeon mentioned that overlapping of the clusters should not happen with that of Anganwadi.
