Banks must support women: CM
Chief Minister Raghubar Das during a meeting with Union Bank’s MD and CEO Raj Kiran Rai said that all the banks should give loans to women self-help groups (SHGs) as women are conscious of returning back loans. “Women SHGs plays an important role in the development of State’s rural economy, It is therefore necessary that the bank lend them money,” the CM added. Field General Manager of Ranchi Zone Atul Kumar and Chief of Ranchi Region Ankesh Jain were also present during the meeting.
CCl kicks off World Environment Day Celebrations
Considering the special feature of this year in which India is the global host of 2018 World Environment Day which will take place on June 5, 2018. Central Coalfields limited (CCl) on Friday started off its World Environment Day celebration campaign by organizing removing plastic litters from public places. The campaign was organized at Kanke Dam, Ranchi by CCl team. The campaign was also launched by across all the CCl command areas at different public places such as district headquarters, public places. The theme of World Environment Day 2018 is ‘Beat Plastic Pollution.
Rescheduled train timing
Considering low height subway construction at Adra Division’s-- Kotshila Junction and Pundag stations, timing of a few trains have been rescheduled, Ranchi-Deogarh Express will depart at 16:55 PM, Ranchi Patna Janshataptdi will depart at 17: 35 PM, Ranchi-Jainagar Express will leave Ranchi at 17: 15 PM while Bokaro Steel City-Bhubansehwar Garib Rath Express will be an hour delayed.
