Workshop on PMAY(G)
Ranchi DDC Shashi Ranjan inaugurated one-day workshop on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (Gramin) on Thursday where over 100 District Coordinator, Block Coordinator, Computer Operator and others from Ranchi, Khunti, lohardaga, Simdega and Gumla were present. Ranjan asked participants to remain alert towards their work. He said that Jharkhand stood at number-4 in PMAY(G) at present and aimed at achieving top position. Officials of Rural Development Department were also present in the meeting.
PNB opens ATM in SRS Mall
Circle Manager Dinesh Kumar Paleewal of PNB today inaugurated an ATM in SRS Mall near Dangra Toli Chowk. Paleewal conveyed his advance greetings of New Year to people of Ranchi and informed about plan of opening more ATMs in the city. Sanjeev Kumar Jain head of Ranchi Mandal briefed customers about its safe usage and urged to use more of ATMs.

Taurian Fiesta – 2017
TAURIAN FIESTA-2017 was celebrated at the Taurian World School here on Thursday. The Fiesta is celebrated to bring each community together by not only marking the Christmas but also celebrating the vigorous commitment of the Taurian family. The fete was inaugurated by our Chief Guest Col Sanjay Srivastava along with our Principal Dr. Subhash Kumar. The day was jam packed with fun, entertainment, great food and activities for the young and young at heart! A right note was set with the commencement of school prayer and hymns followed by Christmas wishes and wisdom from our Principal and the Chief Guest. The Taurian Yearbook 2017 too was launched by the Chief Guest. There were many stalls set up by the School kids like 7Up 7 Down, Fishing the bottle, Makeup Shakeup which added to the gala, pomp and show.
Food Festival at Chanakya BNR
A Hyderabadi Food Festival is being organsed at Chankya BNR from December 22 to 23. Vimal Verma is Chief Advisor of AMS
The National Director of Antarrashtriya Manavadhikar Sangathan Vimal Kumar Verma is nominated as Chief Advisor of this organization. National President Madhav Shankar Pathak said that on the basis of work of Kumar as national director, the executive committee decided to give the responsibility to Vimal Kumar Verma. With that Verma will also take care of AMS's ambitious plan Anand Ashram.
