A body of a 30-year old contract worker of Electro Steel was found near Nawadih railway track, in Bokaro on Friday morning.
"The deceased was identified as Duryodhan, a resident of Rohiniyatand, under Amlabad police station. The body has been sent for postmortem. Prima-facie it seems that the youth was murdered", the police said.
About 4.30 am Duryodhan left his home for the plant to join his duty. When he was on his way, few unidentified criminals attacked him with sharp weapons and later left his body near the railway track, sources said.
We also recovered a blood-drenched helmet from the spot which is sent for forensic test, the police said
"A FIR has been registered and we are investigating into the matter", said Officer-in-Charge of local police station.
