Institution of Engineers felicitates Saidev
P Saidev, ED(CET), SAIl Ranchi was felicitated by the Institution of Engineers (India), Jharkhand State Chapter, Ranchi on the 56th Foundation Day at Engineer Bhawan for his eminence to the profession of engineering and support to the technical activities of Institution of Engineers (India). The honour was bestowed upon Saidev by Navinchandra B Vasoya, President, Institution of Engineers (India). Under the leadership of Saidev, CET is steering many modernization and expansion projects in SAIl steel plants.
Congress protest over Jainagar Express Train
The State Congress Committee members under the leadership of Jharkhand Congress Committee, General Secretary, Alok Kumar Dubey on Sunday staged protest at Hatia Railway Station to resume the service of Jainagar Express Train. Protesters with placards in hand from 11 AM to 1:30 PM staged the protest, blaming the ruling party for this problem.
IPS Association pays tribute to Ahmed
IPS Association of Jharkhand paid tribute to the retied DGP of Jharkhand Neyaz Ahmed at Khukhri Guest House located at JAP-I premises in Ranchi on Sunday. A condolence meet was organised where all the officers paid tribute to the retired DGP by keeping mum for two minutes and remembered the contributions made by him to the Jharkhand Police. Ahmed had died of heart attack on Monday.
