Nathwani’s Booklet on SAGY Released
Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani’s booklet showcasing his development works carried out in Jaratoli - Baram Panchayat of Namkum Block and Chuttu Panchayat of Kanke Block in Ranchi District of Jharkhand was released in presence of senior ministers of State Governments of Jharkhand and Gujarat on Tuesday at Ahmedabad. Nathwani has adopted both the villages under SaansadAdarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY. The booklet was released during a dinner organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with support of ZydusCadila and Reliance Industries ltd in honour of Group of Ministers of Jharkhand, who visited Gujarat for participation in the 'Management and leadership for Good Governance' programme at Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad (IIM-A).
Munda visits MRM convenor
Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda said that Eid gives us a message of mutual harmony. Munda was speaking at the residence of Shahid Akhtar, National Convener of Muslim Rashtriya Manch in Ranchi. Other officials of the Manch were also present during the programme.
Eight year cases settled though mediation
Eight year old cases of cheque bounce were settled though mediation in Jharkhand High Court through the efforts made by Advocate lK Giri under which Rs 6, 70,000 will be paid to the complainants. Rs 4 lakh was paid on the spot after the settlement while the rest amount will be paid later. The complaint was filed by Ranjeet Chaudhary and his family members. One case was against 80 year old father while five other cases were filed against the son.
IIM RANCHI welcomes new students
A 10-day long induction programme was conducted by IIM – Ranchi organised by the administration, faculty and senior batch for the students. The programme commenced on June 17 and ended on June 27 with a series of activities. Activities testing intellectual, sports and creative abilities were given to them.
A “Know Your City” tour was organised around Ranchi which introduced them to the various interesting places of historical and social significance. Yoga Day and EID was celebrated as an integral part of this programme .The programme concluded with a Cultural evening on the theme ”Parichay”.
