Congress to protest RaGa’s detention
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) has decided to organise extensive protests against its national Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s detention on Thursday on his way to Mandsaur, and against killings of five farmers there. The party said on Friday that the workers directed by JPCC President Sukhdev Bhagat would organise effigy burning of Union government and candle march for killed farmers at all district headquarters on Saturday.
Central Bank discusses loan recovery
Regional Office (Jharkhand) of Central Bank of India organised a meeting on Friday to discuss possible ways of loan recovery. Regional Manager Anil Kumar Meelu said that General Manager (Central Office) RN Syandolia has asked branch managers to visit borrowers’ home, as frequent home visits had garnered positive results in many areas. Syndolia has also asked officials to organise camps for loan recovery.
