PRAYAS organises interactive session
‘Prayas’ an NGO organised an interactive session at DPS Ranchi on Thursday. The main topic of this discussion was “The teaching methods used in government schools and the methodologies to improve the children’s result”. Children from many schools, enthusiastically participated in this event. The best ideas would be sent to the government so that in future State’s educational system could have some positive improvements. Speaking on this occasion the Principal Dr. Ram Singh said that DPS Ranchi is ever ready to take up activities which would be beneficial for the society.
Soft skill workshop held at SBPS
A capacity building programe on soft skills was organised for the supporting staff at SBPS.To enhance their work-skills, the helping staff of the school including the guards, drivers, bus attendants etc participated in the workshop. They were also provided information regarding POCSO Act, 2012 and human rights with an aim to spread awareness. Topics like basic etiquettes and child abuse were also discussed .To develop a better understanding of English language and to enable them to converse in English, a small role-play activity was also conducted.
