First Jharkhand Imaging Expo takes off
Three day Jharkhand Imaging Expo-2017 under the aegis of Jharkhand Photographic Association was inaugurated on Saturday by Chief Guest Padmashri Mukund Nayak at Shaheed Thakur Vishwanath Shahdev Indoor Stadium in Khelgaon. Nayak said on the occasion that only successful photography was possible only with passion and patience carried on mission mood. Noted photographers and photojournalists, editors and enthusiasts from across the country were present on the opening ceremony of expo.
SAIl’s Independent Director visits BSl
The Independent Director of SAIl, (Prof.) Dr Summer Singh visited Bokaro Steel Plant (BSl) of SAIl. Singh was received by the plant’s officials on his arrival later they went on to have a look at the plant accompanied by other top officials. At BSl they visited the Coke Ovens, Blast Furnace, CCS, HMS and CRM-3. Interacting with the officials where ever Singh went, he closely observed the production and quality parameters being followed in these units, informed the PR official. In the afternoon Singh met all General Managers and senior officers to have in-depth familiarisation about the Plant and later departed in the evening, officials informed.
Minority cell chairman slams Minister
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Chairman (Minority Committee) Shakeel Akhter Ansari has slammed Human Resource Development Department Minister Neera Yadav for allegedly provoking two communities in Kodarma during Ramnavami which led to communal violence there. Condemning such erupted violence between two communities in Hazaribagh, Kodarma, Chatra, Giridih and Bokaro on Ramnavami this year, Ansari alleged Minister for being indulged in such provocations in Kodarma as In-Charge of the district from BJP.
JCI organises Retire Rich programme
JCI organised a one day training programme in Hotel Pinnacle on Saturday themed at Retiring Rich, in which noted financial trainer JC Bhavesh Khodiyar suggested members to plan for their retirement now onwards itself. He said that those investing from early ages were bound to get high returns on low investments. In the programme where Naveen Garodia, Saket Agrawal and other members apart from President Abhinav Mantri were present, he also suggested members about a number of investment tools which could garner high returns.
