‘Nirbhaya Fund’ for women
Personnel Department Principal Secretary Nidhi Khare said on Monday that ‘Nirbhaya Fund’ is being instituted by the Centre for quick relief to victims of violence, torture, exploitation of women and girls. Under this ‘One stop centre for women – Sakhi’ are being set up. One such centre has been set up at RINPAS and other centres would come up at Jamshedpur and Dhanbad.
Supervisor shot in Hindpiri
A supervisor of A-One company was today shot dead by unidentified criminals at Nadi Ground area in Hindpiri. The man named Gajendra Pandey was rushed to RIMS by locals where he was declared dead. Police has launched a search to nab the culprits in the case.
Awareness campaign to conclude today
To educate masses on several social issues, IPRD is conducting awareness campaign at various places. Through innovative medium people are being made aware about the programmes of governments as well. The three-day programme will conclude at Pandra Bazaar on Tuesday. Under the supervision of Block officer Mukul lakra, the programmes are being organized and have been successful in grabbing the residents’ attention.
AJSU to review Govt work
Review of the works done by state government will be done during a central meeting cum picnic organized by AJSU party on January 11. An official release by the party also stated that future plan of action will also be discussed during the meeting. Office bearers of all blocks, central officials along with the officials of all units will be taking part in it, said party spokesperson Deosharan Bhagat.
Foundation Day at Pragya’s Gurukul
