Ashok Bhagat nominated in NC
Ranchi: Vikas Bharti (Bishunpur) Secretary Padmashri Ashok Bhagat has been nominated in a National Committee (NC) constituted for commemoration of birth centenary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. The Committee headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi also includes dignitaries like former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and HD Deve Gowda, Union Cabinet Ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Manohar Parrikar, Venkaiyah Naidu and many others.
BEMl CMD visits HEC ltd
Ranchi: DK Hota, Chairman and Managing Director, BEMl limited along with AK Haldar Executive Director (Marketing) and other team members visited HEC on Saturday. The delegation had a brief overview of HEC and the team went around the manufacturing facilities of the company visiting the heavy machine, gear and fabrication workshops in HMBP and held detailed discussions on the emerging areas of mutual business development and areas of cooperation.
National lok Adalat disposes of 77k cases
Ranchi: A National lok Adalat was organised by Jharkhand State legal Services Authority across the State of Jharkhand under the aegis of National legal Services Authority on Saturday. It was held in all the courts across the State. This National lok Adalat was on matters of traffic, civic issues and other petty matters. The Adalat disposed 77,109 cases with total amount settled was Rs 2,04,42,639.
Road accident claims 4 lives
Hazaribagh: In a tragic incident on Friday night four persons have lost their lives and about three dozen injured when a bus collided with a truck near Charhi over bridge, hardly 15 km away from Hazaribagh town, on NH33. The bus was coming from Gaya of Bihar and was going to Ranchi. Injured passengers were admitted at Sadar hospital Hazaribagh.
