Munda commends Ranchi BJP booth committee
Former CM Arjun Munda appreciated the photographed booth committee list prepared by Ranchi Mahanagar chapter of BJP. Addressing the booth-level workers congregation on Tuesday, he exhorted the workers to actively propagate development schemes run by Union and State Governments. BJP, Ranchi Mahanagar Chairman Manoj Kumar Mishra shed light on the present status of booth level committee.
IPRD to put up stall at Rath Mela
District Information and Public Relations Unit, Ranchi will put up a picture exhibition at the Rath Yatra Mela in Jagannathpur from July 06 to July 15. The exhibition will propagate development schemes and policies of government along with popularising dignified personalities of Jharkhand and tourist spots of State. lED vans and street play teams will also be part of the drive.
Silli MlA sentenced for 1-yr, released on bail
Silli MlA Amit Mahto, along with his 20 supporters was on Tuesday sentenced one year imprisonment by a Ranchi Court in a case related to road blockade and rampage case in Silli. All of them however, were later released on bail after furnishing a bail bond of Rs 5000 each. During the hearing, court of First Class Judicial Magistrate held Mahto and 20 others guilty for disturbing peace, road blockade and rampage case registered in the year 2005.
