DC assesses mining activities
Ranchi DC Manoj Kumar ordered officials to demolish illegal brick kilns in McCluskieganj and Khelari during the review meeting of legal Mining Task Force on Wednesday. He ordered unauthorised electric connections to be disconnected and a report on the same to be furnished to DNO. He ordered investigation in illegal loading near Sadhu Maidan and Bariatu Maidan.
NABARD organises campaign on pulses
NABARD and the Department of Agriculture organised a state level campaign on “Improving Productivity, Production and Procurement of Pulses” and “Water Conservation and its efficient use”, on Wednesday. Principal Secretary of the Department NM Kulkarni informed that the Government is focusing in the 1st phase of NFSM – Pulses in Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Simdega and lohardaga districts.
DAV Kapildev gears up for Yoga event
DAV Kapildev students along with other DAV group of schools functioning across the state capital are gearing up for the international Yoga Day event. Under the expert supervision of Satyanand Yoga Mission, the students are being trained. The training will conclude on June 20. As per the schedule, students will participate in the programme being organised at Morabadi Ground on International Yoga Day.
Fresher Day at Kairali School
The new academic sessions for class XI students at Kairali School kicked off on Wednesday. All the students were welcomed by the Principal Jacob CJ and Vice Principal Sister R Cherian. Ranchi kids shine at Olympiad Awards
Two Ranchi students got international ranks in Olympiad Awards held recently organised by Science Olympiad Foundation. Kushagra of class 6th and Atul Harsh of class 7th got from St.Xavier’s School first rank in National Cyber Olympiad. The first rank holders were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a gold medal.
ICFAI second issue of Journal of Management
ICFAI University, Jharkhand released the latest issue of IUJ Journal of Management on Wednesday. Gl Datta , former Chancellor of Kl University and Dean of IIT, Kharagpur was the Chief Guest. The best paper award was given to article on ‘Mobile Internet: Boon or BaneIJ’ authored by Aagu Chaudhury , Sudeep Kumar and Bijoy Ganguly.
