Photojournalist robbed by encroachers
Hardeep Singh, a photojournalist with an English daily, was robbed by street vendors encroaching the street in front of Daily Market on Wednesday. The culprits snatched his camera when Singh was taking pictures of encroaching hawkers. His camera was returned but the encroachers kept his memory card which had the pictures.
Youth shot dead by robbers
A youth named Abhishek was shot dead by criminals during a robbery on Thursday. The incident occurred near NUSRl campus. Abhishek, who used to work for a micro-finance company, was returning with his friend Deepak after collecting Rs one lakh which the culprits wanted to snatch.
