CM to meet Chinese Vice-Governor
Ranchi: CM Raghubar Das will hold a high level meeting with Chinese Vice-Governor (Shaanxi Province) led delegation on May 18. A Chinese delegation is coming to Jharkhand on May 17-18 with a view to boost up friendly relationship with Jharkhand. The State Government will sign an MoU with this delegation on Enhancing Family Communication and Corporation. The province has expressed interest in use of coal, discovering renewable source of energy, economic trade, education, art and other areas. Prior to this, senior officers of water resources, forest, agriculture and animal husbandry department will hold a meeting with the delegation.
Rs240 cr transferred to districts
Ranchi:Development Commissioner- cum- Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Finance Department Amit Khare today said that a total amount of Rs. 240 crores has been transferred to districts under the district plan untied fund in the financial year 2016-17. He said that under the district plan untied fund, the prior approved schemes should be paid. In the light of amended guidelines for the implementation and approval of schemes, remaining funds should be expensed for fulfilling the missing gaps with a view to develop basic infrastructure approved by District Planning Committee in districts in the current financial year.
CM orders action on engineers, assistant engineers
Ranchi:CM Raghubar Das ordered departmental proceedings against executive engineer Sunil Kumar Sultania (Work Division, Bokaro) and Assistant Engineer (Chas Sub-Division). Prima-facie they have been found guilty of doing irregularity in construction work.
