Workshop on social welfare schemes

A one-day workshop for Jharkhand Unorganised Workers Social Security Scheme, 2014 was organised on Saturday at Ranchi to apprise people about the benefits of the scheme and people eligible for getting benefits under the scheme. The workshop was inaugurated by Mayor Asha lakra.

State hockey girls qualify for final

The Jharkhand team defeated Punjab girls by 5-2 goals and qualified for the finals of 5th Junior National Women’s Hockey at Chhattisgarh on Saturday. The information was given by Hockey Jharkhand president Bhola Nath Singh.
