Voter cards to be linked with AAdhar soon
Hazaribagh: Soon the voter cards are going to be linked with the unique identification numbers of every individual. Before it the Government is going to start a massive programme of rectification of electoral roll in which everyone will get a chance to get the mistakes rectified if there is any in their voter card or Aadhar Card. It was said by DC Mukesh Kumar after inaugurating the National Electoral Roll Purification Programme in Hazaribagh district.
Municipal employees begin hunger strike
lohardaga: The employees of municipal corporation started 1 hunger strike near municipal head office on evoke of Jharkhand local Bodies Employees Federation. On the occasion vice minister of federation Ayub Ali and District head Ajay Singh told that Government is harassing the employees in vain. Our three points demand letter basically included to do permanent the daily basis workers, remuneration, gratuity and pension. In strike Gandru Toppo, Soma Oraon, Rustam Ansari, Prabha Devi, Ramesh Sahu, Romani Devi, Kari Devi, Umesh Kasera, lalit Oraon and Baijnath Karua were present.
1 killed, 1 hurt as motorcycle hits tree in Bokaro
Bermo: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot while the pillion ride got severely hurt and admitted at DVC hospital, when a motorcycle in which both were travelling collided with tree near Carmel school, Bokaro Thermal under the same police station here on Tuesday afternoon.
District-level Sahiya summit held
lohardaga: At town hall a district level Sahiya summit was organised that is jointly inaugurated by DC Manjunath Bhajantri and civil surgeon Dr Sengupta. DC Bhajantri said, “The health facilities should be reached to last person of the society. Administration is all devoted for this.”CS Sengupta said, “Sahiya means friend or mate.
