Admin gears up for 1st session of 4th Assembly
Ranchi: Keeping in view the first session of the 4th Jharkhand Assembly, the district administration has issued orders to ban protest and demonstrations near the Vidhansabha. The session will commence from January 6. Administration has also issued changes in the traffic routes. Senior police personnel, magistrates and police forces will be deputed near the Assembly during the course of the session.
JCI Ranchi Bags Natcon Award
Ranchi: JCI Ranchi bagged four wards at the NATCON 2014 symposium organised in Gwalior from December 27 to 19 last year. The information was given by JCI spokesperson Siddharth Choudhary. Anant Jain, Nikhil Modi and Vinay Mantri participated on behalf of the team. The participants were appreciated by other members of JCI.
HIl-3 Venue Inspection from Jan 6
Ranchi: Hockey India venue managers will check the status of technical hurdles of the Astro Turf Stadium from January 6 onwards. A three member team was noticed going through the turf during the 60th School Games on Saturday. The third edition of HIl will commence from Bhubaneswar on January 22. At Ranchi, the first match is scheduled on January 26.
Arrival of Participants for Youth Fest
Ranchi: Among the 600 participants from 18 universities of East Zone, some reached the state capital on Saturday for the 30th East Zone Inter-University Youth Festival scheduled here from January 5 to 9. The testing of the Media Centre formed by PG Mass Communication Department was conducted on Saturday.
