EC orders repoll in three booths
The Election Commission has ordered re-poll on three booths falling in two constituencies — Chhatarpur and Garhwa. The re-poll would take place on December 2 on booth number 191 and 192 of Chhatarpur constituency and booth number 86 of Garhwa constituency. Election had taken place on November 25 in the constituencies.
Workshop on IMS Act organised
A workshop on Infant Milk Substitutes Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods Act 1992, As Amended in 2003 was held at IPH on Saturday. NHM Mission Director Ashish Singhmar felt it is important for all registered medical practitioners and AYUSH doctors to know about the details of IMS Act. There is no alternative to breast feeding so it is necessary to promote the motherly practice, said Singhmar.
Cong lodges complaint against Ranchi MlA
The Congress party has lodged a complaint against BJP candidate CP Sigh of violating Model Code of Conduct producing video footage as well as photographs as evidences. According to the complaints lodged by Congress Party with the Chief Election Commissioner PK Jajoria, banners and posters of Singh are being put by the party workers using the vehicles of Ranchi Municipal Corporation which is a violation of Model Code of Conduct.
