Dist admin issues prohibitory orders
District administration on Tuesday issued prohibitory orders under Section 144. The order will be in effect around Raj Bhawan, Chief Minister House, Nepal House and Vidhansabha building and has prohibited assembly of people near these places. The order has come in the wake of AJSU Party’s call issued to gherao Raj Bhawan on Tuesday.
Hindi month at Bank Of India
Bank Of India celebrated Hindi month from August 14 to September 14 and used the national language for majority of official works. The bank held a concluding ceremony at the regional office. On the occasion General Manager Jain Bhushan said for a democratic country, one language is not only necessary for building the nation but also to display national unity and integrity of the country.
First V-Mart store at Ranchi
V-mart opened its first value store in Ranchi. The store is the 5th among the chain of stores established by V-Mart North India ltd in Jharkhand. CMD of V-Mart, lalit Agarwal said after getting a very good response from existing stores in Jharkhand the company is planning to create a significant presence across the State.
Furore at RMC board meeting
RMC board meeting once again witnessed mudslinging. This time a ward councilor opposed Deputy Mayor for sitting on dais with other elected as well as administration officials. The bitter altercation was borne out of a long struggle waged by few ward councilors to remove Deputy Mayor from the post.

Godrej launches latest refrigerators
