Chief Secy meeting with Industry Dept
Ranchi: Chief Secretary Sudheer Prasad has said that the State Government will provide land for the training institutes which will be built in State. Prasad was holding a meeting regarding providing land for the premiere educational institutions like IIT, IIIT, STPI, and National e-Governance Academy in the State. Officials of Industry department told the Chief Secretary that the land has already been identified for the construction of IIT and STPI in Bokaro. A land piece of 25 acres for IT Park has also been identified for IT Park in AIDA.
Workshop on Social media concludes
Ranchi: Three-day workshop on Social media organised by UNICEF in collaboration with the Information and Public Relation department came to an end on Thursday. Speaking on this occasion secretary of Information and Public Relation department M.R. Meena gave emphasis on the utility of social media and urged the information officers of the department to use it effectively.
He also distributed certificates to participant officers. Communication Officer of UNICEF Mayra Dawa said that on the issue of the development of mothers and children the state officers are quite sensitive.
Third day of Hindi fortnight
Ranchi: Poetry recitation competition was organised in the auditorium of Postmaster General Office on Thursday. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Postmaster General (BD and Sales) Anil Kumar. He said that such programmes will increase the interest of the people in the Postal department towards Hindi literature. large number of employees took part in the poetry recitation competition.
