30th Installation ceremony of lions Club held
Ranchi: The 30th Installation ceremony of lions Club of Ranchi East was organised at Nirmaya Hospital campus at Kokar this Sunday. The Chief guest cum installation officer of the programme was Padam Charan Nayak along with Rajiv Ranjan, Rajnish Kumar, Rajiv lochan and other senior officials were present on the auspicious occasion.
Yadav pens to DGP on rising crime in Santhal
Ranchi: JVM leader Pradeep Yadav on Sunday wrote a letter to DGP Rajiv Kumar to draw attention towards deteriorating law and order in Santhal region. The veteran JVM leader pointed towards incident of Godda, Deoghar and Jamtara to prove the point of worsening state of policing in Santhal.
BOI opens ultra small branches
Ranchi: To mark the Bank Nationalisation Day, Bank of India, Ranchi Zone has opened five Ultra Small Branches and Customer Service Points in Ranchi to kickstart urban financial inclusion in the State. The branches were inaugurated by Principal Secretary IT NN Sinha and ED of BOI, R Koteeswaran. GM BOI NBG (J&C) and SlBC, Jain Bhushan; DGM & Zonal Manager of BOI, IM Malik; DGM AP Yadav and other senior officials of the bank were present on the occasion.
IIM-R wins NASSCOM Competition 2014
Ranchi: The annual Nasscom Business Plan Competition held on 18th July, 2014 at EZCC, Salt lake City, Kolkata, has been won by four students from the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM-R). The NASSCOM e-Summit is aimed at creating a platform for students to engage with thought leaders from across the country. The Business Plan Competition gave students from b-schools across India an opportunity to showcase their ideas to forward their interest in entrepreneurship.
