Power crisis: BJP set to gherao hydel plant
Ranchi: Peeved over the erratic power supply in the State, the rural unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to gherao the Sikildiri
Hydro Power Plant on June 19. The proposals were passed on Tuesday during a meeting organised by the rural unit of the BJP to ensure the ongoing agitation against the poor power supply in the State.
Postal Dept invites customers for ‘My Stamp’
Ranchi: Postal Customers can now get a stamp of their own photograph or family. Any Identification Document issued by Government is required to be submitted to the postal department for availing such stamps. According to a press communiqué, customers can get the facility at Ranchi GPO and Jamshedpur Head Post Office in Jharkhand by paying Rs 300 for 12 such stamps in a sheet.
