HC grants anticipatory bail to Giriraj singh
Ranchi: The BJP leader Giriraj Singh was on Friday granted anticipatory bail from Jharkhand High Court in connection with the inflammatory speech delivered by him at Bokaro and Deoghar. According to his counsel Rajiv Ranjan, Giriraj could not be charged for delivering inflammatory speeches as he did not take names of any of the caste, religion or community. He has already been granted anticipatory bail from Patna High Court in this connection.
CS directs DCs to ensure water supply
Ranchi: Chief Secretary Sajal Chakraborty, in order to ensure continuous water supply to each and every part of the district, has asked the concerned Deputy Commissioners to prepare a special work plan for the next two months.
